We are an organization that supports citizen participation, integration, community development, and empowerment of the Latino population in Spokane.

OUR MISSION

Our Mission is to build capacity within Latino immigrant families and support the advancement of Latino community members, leaders, business-owners, and organizations in Spokane, to address the needs of the growing Latino population through inclusive community engagement, connections to local resources, and serve as catalyst for immigrant rights, social, racial, economic and environmental justice for a more equitable Spokane County.

Get to Know Us

Latinos En Spokane has centered our efforts on going to where the community is, listening to needs, building trust, and providing technical support and wrap-around services directly to families navigating the complexities of immigration, education, healthcare, housing, and city resources. Our programs have created cultural visibility within the Latino and immigrant communities.

 

Our Center is open to the Spokane community and functions as a space for Latino and immigrant community members to ask questions and receive technical support connecting and registering to local resources. Our office provides a visible, cultural, and reliable safe space for our community members. At our Center, you can talk to a social workers, ESL and Spanish Classes, language accessible drivers education classes, monthly legal clinics (civil and immigration), WA Courts Self Help Center, as well as cultural events.

Attend Cultural Events

Attending cultural events fosters community engagement, offering moments of joy and recognition while providing a platform to celebrate the vibrant contributions of Latin communities in Spokane.

Participate In Our Educational Workshops

We provide free workshops every month. English Classes, ITIN Workshops, Computer Classes, Tutoring Sessions and more!

Café Internet

Walk-in self-services. Free Scans, Prints, Computer Lab, WIFI, and free Court Documents

Immigration and Legal Clinics

We have partnered with Gonzaga’s School of Law, Spokane Volunteer Attorneys, WA Courts, and The Way To Justice to provide self-help court services, free monthly immigration clinics and legal clinics,

Throughout 2024, we're hosting a series of events to commemorate Latino & Hispanic Heritage

These events celebrate and recognize the cultural contributions of Hispanic and Latin communities in Spokane. Our heritage is wonderfully diverse and layered, and we're committed to celebrating and sharing our cultural richness! We'll highlight traditions from various regions with authentic food, live music, cultural activities, and more!
