Street-Food Incubator Program
To add on to the case management style technical Assistance Latinos en Spokane provides, we developed three initiatives to address these barriers to business ownership and economic stability.

Pop-up Booth Supplies
Food entrepreneurs will be able to rent out pop-up vendor equipment at a low costs. Street vending offers mobility and lower- risk business opportunities for vendors.

Commercial kitchen
The kitchen will directly support entrepreneurs in the start-up process to prepare and cater food. OSHA training and workforce development opportunities will also occur.

Food Truck
Food truck will be utilized as a street food incubator space to rent out to food businesses that have undergone business startup coaching, food preparation, catering certification, and city and health district licensing. Food trucks help stimulate business activity, activate safe and welcoming public spaces, and provide diverse and affordable dining options.

We know many talented entrepreneurs who sell food products informally as street vendors or from home kitchens, making them vulnerable to fines or arrest. By creating access and lowering barriers, we can help entrepreneurs achieve business ownership and economic stability.
